Training Programme for Tractor & Attachments. (Attachments: Bowser, Trailer, 3 Way Valve)

Candidate Requirement: Candidates must be over 18 years of age.
Candidates must hold at least a provisional licence.

Course Objective:
To Ensure that Operators:
  - Are competent in the safe operation of the tractor and machinery.
  - Gains knowledge of the Health and Safety Regulations governing this area

Course Content:

  • Statutory Requirements
    - Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005

 

Part One -Theory

  • Method and Importance of Machine Inspection
  • Safe System of Work

Part Two - Practical Sessions
  • Walk Around Inspection
  • Introduction to Machine and Operating Controls
  • Carry out a Safety Pre-Start Check
  • Safe Operation of Machine
  • Practical Test

Certification: A C&M Safety Certificate of Achievement will be awarded to each successful participant on this course.
Duration: 1 Day for Experienced Operators
4 Days for Beginners
