Safety & Health at Work – FETAC Level 5
Who should participate in this course?
Anyone who requires foundation level training in Occupational Health and Safety and those considering expanding their knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace such as safety representatives, health and safety officers and managers, office mangers/administrators and management and supervisory staff.
Duration: 4 Days
No. Of Participants: 10 Participants per Programme.
Certification: A FETAC Level 5 Certificate will be awarded to each successful participant on this course.
Course Objective:
The main aim of this course is to promote safe working practices by being familiar with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and subsequent legislation, which has had an enormous impact on workplace safety. Participants will be able to apply the principles and procedures of health and safety, through an understanding of hazard identification and risk assessment.
Candidate Requirement:
- Anyone with responsibility for Health and Safety in the workplace.
- Learners must also be capable of undertaking assessment work to Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate standard.
- International learners undertaking this course should have confidence in their English language, reading, writing and comprehension skills
