Fire Safety Courses

Certification:A C&M Safety Ltd Certificate of Achievement will be awarded to each participant on this course.
Course Objective:
- Management and staff are made aware of their responsibilities under current legislation, and informed how to set up a safety record programme.
- To comply with regulatory requirements regarding fire training.
- Participants are taught to identify fire hazards and understand what to do in the event of fire.
- Be proficient in the use of fire safety and fire fighting equipment.
Candidate Requirement:
The Fire Precautions Regulations requires that all persons employed should be instructed and trained in fire safety to ensure that they understand the fire precautions and the action to be taken in the event of a fire.
Course Content:
- Familiarising Participants with Safety Equipment on the premises, especially fire extinguishers; their method of operation and application
- An interactive discussion on Fire Prevention, Fire Development, and Containment etc.
- Instruction on Evacuation Methods and Procedures including individual Responsibilities, if applicable
- Professional DVD Presentations: A variety of titles are available depending on the Programme requirements
- A supervised and carefully monitored evacuation drill, if required
- A practical outdoor session featuring “hands-on” training in the use of portable fire extinguishers and fire blankets on various categories of real fires.
