FETAC Level 3 - Career Information / Coping with Redundacy

No. Of Participants: 10 (maximum)
Certification: Each successful participant will be awarded a FETAC Level 3 Certificate.

Candidate Requirements:

When people are made redundant, it is a very difficult time for them. Rejection is a common feeling, as is failure, hopelessness, anxiety and depression, almost feeling like the carpet has been pulled out from under them. Even some of those who opt for voluntary redundancy, might when the time comes, feel some or all of the above emotions. Unfortunately, not everyone has the inner resources to help them deal with the situation, or may not know the best way to approach it. This can lead to helplessness and lethargy and can prevent the person from being proactive in their approach to their redundancy. This programme is aimed at people who are facing redundancy, voluntary or involuntary. It is aimed at helping them assess where they are, what they have to offer, and to help them assess their options.
