Cardiac First Responder Training Course

The Cardiac First Responder course is aimed at those persons within an organisation, community group, sports club who wish to provide CPR and Defib care. The course meets all the requirements set out by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council.

Duration: 1 day
No. Of Participants: Maximum of 8
Certification: 2 Year certification of Competence, recognised by Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council, following successful assessments.

Cardiac First Responder Course Objective:

On completion of the Cardiac First Responder course participants will have:

  • An understanding of the principles of first response
  • The necessary skills to deal with emergencies
  • Essential life saving skills

Candidate Requirement:

Cardiac First Responder Course is geared towards anyone involved in the Caring Environment, community groups, and sports clubs.

  • Cardiac Emergencies
  • Aspirin Administration
  • Introduction to Defibrillator (AED)
  • Scene Management
  • Respiration - Infant / Child / Adult C.P.R.
